Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10I understand this scripture was one read the most during this year based on a recent survey conducted by the Christian Post. I know I have read it many times and have chosen it to be encouraged, assured, and strengthened within my personal being.
I am not immune to problematic situations; fear of health and financial situations. Things happen. And, what’s more many times we don’t know the why of their occurrences. We just have to be ever ready for what it is that comes our way. And, then rely on the Word and encouragement it provides to overcome and not succumb to the challenging circumstances.
It is God’s righteous right hand, his hand of righteousness (in another version) and yet another writes it as his victorious right hand that holds us up. What more could we want?
He promises to help us and what more to strengthen us! When in a glitch, I talk myself into standing on these promises. Why would God make such promises if he had no intention of keeping them?
“I am with you…” this is a wonderful promise from God. And, even after all these years I still do the self talk to my heart after consulting His Word. Oh, but the God I serve is true and ever faithful. I am so blessed!
