He Is!

The Psalmist wrote, “The Lord is my light and salvation-so why should I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

There are many types of fear and what we fear. In all my years of living, I have gone through segments of fear. We fear for our family, for our uncertainties for the unknown. We fear for our health. We fear even death.

But, as I read this verse, I focus on the word “is” because the Lord is my light who shines against all fear of darkness I face. The Lord is my strength, the Lord is my protector, the Lord is my confidant, the Lord is my redeemer, the Lord is my healer and I must trust in him.

I must trust in him because the Lord “IS!”
